Please put your phone on silent. If you need to check your phone, please do so discreetly near the entrance.

Toddlers have a limited ability to filter and prioritise sounds in their environment, so please keep adult conversation to a minimum in the indoor environment.

This is a space for your toddler to have free rein. Please only intervene if your child is going to hurt themselves, another child or the materials.

Intrinsic motivation and an internal sense of accomplishment are central to Montessori philosophy, so step back and let your toddler lead.

Activities occur on a table with or without a chair or on the ground using a mat that defines your child’s workspace.

We focus on the process, not the result.

All materials must be returned to the shelves. If your child cannot collaborate at that moment, that’s okay; please role model and take it back yourself.

If another child is using a material, please encourage your child to be patient until the activity becomes available.
