Keeping Our Tesorini Montessori Community Healthy
At Tesorini Montessori, the health and well-being of our little ones, families and myself are important. This policy helps us all do our part in keeping the program a safe and healthy space for everyone.
When to Keep Your Child at Home
If your child isn’t feeling their best, it’s important to let them rest and recover before returning to the program. Please keep your child home if they have:
A fever (over 38°C)
Vomiting or diarrhoea
A persistent cough
A rash or skin infection
Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
Any contagious illness (like chickenpox, measles, or hand-foot-mouth disease)
Are just feeling out of sorts, unsettled and need extra cuddles.
To keep everyone safe, children need to be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to the program.
Keeping Each Other Informed
If your child comes down with a contagious illness, please let me know as soon as possible so I can keep other families informed (without sharing personal details). This helps us all stay aware and take any necessary precautions.
Keeping It Clean
I do my best to maintain a hygienic environment by:
Cleaning surfaces and materials regularly.
Encouraging handwashing for little ones and grown-ups.
Making sure the space is fresh and tidy for each session.
Working Together
By following these simple guidelines, we can create a warm, welcoming, and healthy space for everyone.
Thank you for being part of our Tesorini Montessori community and for helping keep everyone well!
